Does anyone even use a checkbook anymore? Ann doesn’t write them like she used to, but she does write one at least once a week. My favorite human likes to have one too so we made his in his favorite color – any shade of blue!
Ann keeps a supply of blank covers because they’re hard to find. You can always look for those little calendars in the dollar section of your favorite store and use that. Just be sure that the calendar inside can be taken out. (Sometimes they won’t come out.)
This was just one of the projects Ann made with the Yuba City Stamp Club last night. Rose Red and Soft Suede for girls. Marina Mist and Soft Suede for boys and for girls who like blue.
They could pick whatever Textured Embossing Folder that they wanted and everyone put their initials or made them for a friend. (That’s one gift off the check list!)
Here’s some of what Ann used for this quick and fun gift project. Just click on any of the pictures below or shop here if you want more information or to add to your collection. Remember that the Clearance Rack Blitz is still in its early stages.
It’s a great time to be the blog dog of a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. Check out all our specials here.

What do you need to know, Pam? This post is almost 5 years old, but I am still using that checkbook cover! Maybe it’s time to make another one.
I guess people still do use checkbooks. Last year I made checkbook covers for a craft fair and no one bought one (I probably wouldn’t have even been able to give them away). This year ladies were asking if I had an additional ones. I sold out this year.
How interesting, June! Timing is everything!
