Did you know that Stampin’ Up! makes their stamps here in the United States?  Ann & I know that, but now we’ve got proof!  Ann was in Southern Utah with Stampin’ Up! and 119 of the top demonstrators in the United States and Canada.  On Friday, they drove out to Kanab, Utah and toured the manufacturing plant.  For the first time ever, they let Ann take pictures inside so she could show you just one more reason why Stampin’ Up! makes the best stamps!

Here’s Ann’s friend, Tara, pulling the rubber off the mold.   Ann said it was one hot job, but Stampin’ Up! has really good ventilation in there so that you don’t smell the cooking rubber and get so hot.

Afterwards, they went shopping at the local “trade your cash for souvenirs”  place.  Ann always likes to stop at Denny’s.  I hope she brought me back something special.

She says it’s a little like a miniature Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota.  Have you ever been there?  Lots of photo opps and chachkes.   (I don’t know how to spell that.  Just know they attract dust.)

When they came back to their room, the Stampin’ Up! pillow gift angels had left a nice gift for Ann to bring me home.  My own pair of Craft Scissors in their own handmade pouch!  They are grrrreat for cutting ribbon.  You can grab a pair here and make your own pouch for a grrrreat Christmas gift for your favorite crafter – or yourself so we could hav ematching pairs.

Scissor BagEverything was a Western theme and so burlap and vintage were popular.

Remember that tomorrow is the last day for the Pin it to Win It opportunity to win ANYTHING in the catalog.  Maybe you’d like some of these Craft scissors for yourself!  It only takes a minute or two to play!
