NOTE: THE VIDEO TO MAKE THESE IS IN THIS POST.
Summer Smooch time is right around the corner, but Ann's team of 24/7 Stampers are playing with it now! The stampers that participated in the celebration on Saturday got to make their own holders for the Paper Snips scissors that they received as gifts that day. They got to use the new Summer Smooch fabric & decorate them how they pleased.
Except for Shannon, that is. Because she brought the most new members to join our group of 24/7 Stampers during the challenge, she got upgraded to receive a pair of Craft Scissors. These are frequently called Ribbon Scissors because they do so well on Ribbon & Fabric. Ann took them out to lunch after they finished their card, new Big Shot Purse (shown here in Sunday's post)
These scissor holders are for two of the 24/7 Stampers that participated long distance. Ann will be sending their swaps, scissors & projects as soon as we see the whites of the mail man's eyes.
This scissor holder project also looks really good with the Twitterpated Designer Fabric. You make them with the Dresden Designs Bigz L Die. You can get both of these through the end of April in the Occasions Mini Catalog. They're easy to do – even if you can only sew a straight line. And thank you to Robin for giving us the initial idea. We made these a little sturdier by adding interfacing.
If you don't have a Big Shot yet, NOW is the time to get it so that you can get some cool Sale-A-Bration items free with it! Of course, if you want to join our team while Stampin' Up! is offering the New Demonstrator Starter Kit for just $125, you could buy your Big Shot from yourself on your first order and get at least 30% off! Call us at (530) 674-5090 & bring your list of questions or jump on in feet first by following these instructions.
It only takes minutes to become a 24/7 Stamper & get included in our next celebration in May!

It's a great time to be the blog dog of a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
I DID record it a few months later and showed the video in this post. https://www.stamperdog.com/2012/08/scissor-pouch-video.html
I am not a stamper but a quilter, and think yor scissor holder is absolutely darling!! Would you be willing to share the directions? I think they would make cute Christmas gifts for my quilter friends!!
I’m not letting Ann put her sewing machine away until she does it! I know she’d rather be doing the video than taxes!
A video would be even better!! Thanks!
I’m thinking VIDEO.
