I can't believe it! Meg, Jerry, Kash, Tej, Jon, Barbara, Carly have all quit calling me! Elections aside, I have to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all my Missouri Stampers that voted for Prop B yesterday. For those who don't know, Missouri is the largest puppy mill state. You can find out more in this article so I don't have to get depressed barking about it here.
I just know I went to bed early thinking it wasn't going to pass & woke up finding out that it did. WOO HOO!
So I've got just the ticket! A gift tag on my imaginary thank you gift!!
It's made with the Serene Snowflakes set #115438 from the big Stampin' Up! Catalog & the Tags Till Christmas Set Wood-#120847 Clear-#121169 from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog.
When you cut the Crumb Cake Cardstock to 2-3/4" x 5-1/2", you can get 6 of these out of a sheet of cardstock. That's not including the tag that's stamped in Cherry Cobbler onto Naturals Ivory.
This doesn't show the glitter very well, but there's just enough to make you Glitter Queens happy.
Ann got a new little glitter shaker to try out. I did a test drive & it gets my 3 paws up seal of approval. It's got a big opening on the top so it will be easy to get the glitter back in after I've sprinkled it all over the cards & tags.
Here's a teeny picture. You can click on it to see it, but it's about 3" high & cost $3 in a clearance rack at a place I'm not normally seen in. I'd look for a small cheese shaker.
As a owner of a rescued “puppy mill breeding” dog, everyone in our house vote yes and was thrilled this morning to see that this got passed! My daughter volunteers for an organization called “Wayside Waifs”, so she see many of these “puppy mill” dogs come in, it is so sad to see these poor, abused dogs. No ones need to own 800 dogs, which is what one puppy mill breeder owns here in the state, outrageous! Thanks goes to everyone who voted to put a stop to this.
