Catch the Birds!

Here's another way cool card we got for Cecil's birthday.  But I really believe that Mary designed it for me!

Didn't she do a fantabulous job?  Makes me want to chase that bird right off the page.

It's so nice to be featuring such good Stampin' UP! masculine cards!  Everyone can sure use a couple of those birthday cards in their stash.

Fast & Fabulous Scrapbooking

Ann visited my buddy, Rosemary Orozco on Fox 40 Live Morning Show yesterday.  She shared this cool page of ME using the Stampin' Up! Big Shot & the Petal Party Simply Scrappin' Kit.  in just a few minutes, a nice picture of me was souped up to improve my already dapper appearance....or at least she thought so.

When she returned, I guided her to improve the page even a bit more to bring it up to my level of excellence.  Here it is.  What do YOU think?  Just click for a close up look - as with all my photos.

It's An Exciting Day with Fox 40 Live

I'm not posting Ann's project that she's featuring today on Fox 40 Live until tomorrow.  It's just too scraptabulous to let out just yet.

Birthday Card Leaves

Here's another special birthday card for Cecil from Barbara in Pasadena, Maryland.  Isn't it great?

 

I had Ann take the picture this way so that you could see how she punched the cardstock on the inside.  How smart is that? 

Get your Tivo ready!  Ann's going to be on Fox 40 tomorrow morning sometime between 7:30 & 8am sharing some scrapbooking tips.  You won't want to miss it!  Then she's off to Beale AFB for a party with Hafdis.  I'd go if I felt better because I know how much she loves me.

Like a Stampin' Up! Charm

Yesterday went off like a Stampin' Up! charm.  Cecil was really surprised with 18 of his friends showing up for lunch to celebrate the day after his birthday. 

If you were wondering how Ann got Cecil out of the house - Gail pretended to invite them to Red Robin for an Anniversary dinner.  Ann made this card for Gail & her husband so Cecil wouldn't catch the hint. She was inspired by two pieces of scrap card stock that were laying on the table:  Elegant Eggplant & Crushed Curry.  She was so concerned about me that she almost didn't finish it, but she was able to pull it together with the Abundant Hope stamp set #117054(Wood) #118547(Clear) that's featured in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini catalog.  She also used the Everything Nice stamp set #113818 that you can get for free until the end of this month with a $50 order.

Oh yeah!  And let's not forget the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set #115370. n It's a good one to have so that you can have all the greetings in just one set.

The day was not without its drama.  Ann noticed that I was a little under the weather.  She's really good at the slightest possibility that I'm missing a little pep in my step.  They took me to the doggy spa which also doubles as a hospital when I'm not up to snuff.  $276 later, they still don't know what's wrong with me, but I DO have a fever.  X-ray seemed okay.  Blood test was fine.  Urinalysis was okie-dokie.  I was just too hot to trot with a 105 temperature. 

Since I didn't even get up when the freezer door opened, the front door opened OR the door bell rang, Ann felt I was better off at the spa/hospital than home alone.  Better to have a crack team of doctors & nurses to cater to my every whim.

I'll be milking this sick thing as long as I can.  Not to worry.  Ann can still take dictation, but please - keep me in your prayers.  Don't miss out on the free Easter cards & project instructions featured in this post.
