Hey Ann!  I miss you already!  You are the Top Note to my Big Shot.  Anyone who has a Happy Heart like you better buy this set now cuz it's going away in less than 2 weeks!

Come back tomorrow to see what cool deal I've cooked up to offer you in her absence.  You know the saying -

"When the cat's away, the dogs will play."

P.S.  One of my favorite demonstrators made this for a team swap recently.  You could join our team too!  Just ask me how wonderful it is!  I've got a list of recommendations I can share!  Or check out our Help Wanted section.

It's almost time!  I get to go to the Doggy Spa this week.  I'm just visiting for the daytime, thanks to my favorite buddy.  She really takes care of me when Ann's off getting smarter.  I'll be making Ann work this time.  We'll see if she does my typing for me when she's gone.  Santa brought her a tax deduction this year in the shape of a laptop computer.  He really gave it to me but I don't think income tax works that way.

She'll be my traveling reporter at Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference in Orlando.  She made this laminated tag to remind the mail carrier to pick up mail from us.  It's made with the Sizzix Big Shot Go Go Boots Alphabet.   It's a fun set to have & very useful especially when you can't spell!  I think that I'm going to attach one to her jacket just to make sure she doesn't get lost.

SOMEONE'S got to feed me!

Did you have a wonderful kick off for the new year?  I slept most of the day.  Cold here, but probably not as cold as where YOU are!  Ann & Cecil went to dinner and brought me back TWO bones this time!  This is the life!

And here's YOUR bone!  Those of you who have had Ann over to your home to stamp with your friends will be receiving this cool invitation in the mail soon.>>>>

It's for Ann's 9th Semi Annual Hostess Oasis with the cool Love You Much Bundle & the Big Shot!  All the stampers come over & pet me.  There's a massage therapist.  What a day we have stamping!  PLUS you get a cool invitation like this one (coolness is a hidden bit behind the Top Note.)  It's too late for this one, but you can get in on the next one.  Contact Ann today to get YOUR event on the calendar!

P.S.  As of this morning, Ann's orders on December 23rd or later are still waiting to find their way into the boxes & into the hands of that guy that always dresses in brown with the matching truck.  They've been counting stamps at Stampin' Up! which has caused a bit of a delay.  Oh yeah.  And those holidays you humans seem to enjoy.

Just thought you'd like to know.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Know what WE were doing when the clock struck midnight?  Ann was stampin' & Cecil & I were sleepin'!  Almost more fun than a human should be allowed to have!  Cecil gets up at 3am to go to work.  Yep.  He's working today.  He gets up at 3am!  I sleep in until 7 when my breakfast is promptly served b4 I go back to bed and rest up a bit more.

It was good to see Dick Clark in Times Square.  Ann & Cecil were there last March so it was kinda cool for Ann to remember back when Stampin' Up! took them to New York City on their way to Bermuda.

Today's card is a one of kind thank you card to my buddy who takes me to the Doggy Day Spa when Ann travels.  I'm hoping to hitch a ride in the car to her house for dinner today.  If I could just figure out how to open the door!

Here's to a grrrr8 2009!  Let's stamp together soon!

P.S.  do you like the links better way at the top?  Always trying to improve.  And... what's YOUR New Year's Resolution?

Dec 31 2008

Out with the old!  In with the new!  If you don't have these 3 sets, you may regret it!  The Geeks came over for 2 classes yesterday and learned how to color with bleach.  PEE-YOU!  But it didn't smell bad because Ann had her Aqua Painters out for them to use.

Isn't this card purdy?  It uses the Summer By the Sea set that's retiring.  It's wonderful for you stampers who like to color.  And that Wonderful Words set is timeless.  OK - that's Ann talking.  She said that both these sets are keepers along with the Canvas Background Stamp.  And all three are going good-bye forever in just a couple weeks.  Better get them now!

Please don't drink & drive tonight.  A taxi's way cheaper.  And I want to see you back here tomorrow!

Oh goody!  The Geeks are coming over twice today!  They'll be learning more fun techniques to do with their stamps & stuff.  I'll give you a sneak peek if you won't tell anyone.  They're doing an updated version of this Faux Tile card.  Don't you just love it?  Ann has the hardest time deciding WHICH thing to do!  She's got a whole library of them!

Maybe you should come join us sometime.  Just take a look at the schedule & see when you're in town.  Just be sure to register early so that you can get the best seat for the best price.

Happy Birthday to Bianca, a stamper I'd love to meet.  I know she'd love me!  We are so much alike!

Got my first bone today.  Nothing but the best for me.  A Christmas prime rib bone.  Cecil left a little meat on it for me.  I hid it really good in the back yard so Ann can't find it.  Hope I remember where it is!

Here's a cool card that fan club stampers made.  I had Ann use Bashful Blue Craft ink & Iridescent Ice embossing powder to do that snowflake focal point.  It's not too late to get that purdy snowflake stamp.  It's part of the Country Living Kit #114447 and comes with chipboard, Designer Paper, a stamp set & lot of accessories to stamp with.  Oh, and instructions if you want to make some photo ornaments for next year!  Only $49.95 for over $90 of stampin' stuff!  And right now, you can get 30% off when you order todayJust email Ann & ask her.  She'll be glad to tell you all about it.  (but it's over on Monday night, so hurry like a Jack Russell!)

And thanks to my buddy, Karen, for the inspiration.  Hers was pink & with Dazzling Diamonds glitter, but I just wasn't feelin' that.  A dog has his reputation, you know.

It's time to get kickin' on gettin' organized!  Here's something really special just for my blog readers.  Anyone spending at least $75 between now and the stroke of midnight in Times Square on New Year's Eve (9pm, Pacific) will get FREE step by step color online instructions to make this cool project.  You can put your own paw print on it, but I do recommend that you buy or have a Forget-Me-Not Keeper (#105525 $11.95) and the Say It With Scallops set #111678 $17.95) if you don't have them already.

Just ask Ann about the supplies if you want to make it just like the picture because the class is FREE with your "ring out the old year" order.  Just click on the picture for a slide show type preview that'll make you drool!  (and don't forget that little board of mine)

Happy Boxing Day everyone!  Ann's told me about Boxing Day and about her 5 years living in England.  That's where my ancestors hail from so I was all ears when she talked about it.

Here's the card I told Ann to make for Cecil.  She thought it was her idea, but I was sending her telepathic messages while I was dreaming in my bed.  Those Big Shot letters really make a difference and went on really easily with the Mono MultiAdhesive.

And here are the 3 Gift Card Holders that Ann sent to her family.  Click on the picture for a good look.  Aren't they cute?  The video instructions are here with more in the video gallery.  They're not just for Christmas and are very quick to do.

There was a lot of hub-ub going on around here yesterday.  They left me for a couple hours, but I was good and guarded the house well in their absence.  I have lots of stamps to protect!
