When Ann was little, they used to buy Christmas gift tags at the last minute to go on their packages. Come to think of it, that’s the way it was around here before I was born too. In fact, Ann didn’t buy gift tags at all! And she still doesn’t because now she can make them in just a few minutes!
And you can too! (and before I get started, if you have a Santa that likes to wait until the very last minute, have him call Ann today and get a gift certificate so you can get what you want when they add more stuff to the Clearance Rack Blitz on the 27th – OOPS! Did *I* say that?)
Just grab a piece of card stock and a stamp that you feel will add to the theme – like Christmas – and start stamping! You can add layers and layers or you can make it simple!
Ann used a punch that is coming out on January 3rd to make the top of this one even. but until then, you can just cut a corner off, flip the cut piece over and use it for a template to cut the other corner off. (But after the first of the year, you’ll WANT that new Tag Topper Punch)
See the one I made for Ann? I got out a piece of Soft Suede Card Stock. I just stamped the Festive Flurry stamp set in Whisper White Craft Ink and then embossed it with Pool Party Embossing Powder, but you could use Silver or Gold if you’d like. Just click on the picture to see a close up.
Add a piece of Pool Party Seam Binding and a couple Basic Pearls and there you go! One package dolled up.
Ann won’t be getting her gift until the 27th so it wasn’t REALLY last minute for me.
