Little Shimmer on a Birthday Card

We added a little shimmer on a birthday card for today’s project. And we’ve added a little sneak peek as well.

Can you spot it?

We were thinking of sending this to the son-in-law but we’ve got a few weeks to change our minds.. that’s just in case we come up with a different card that we like better.

They’re having a big anniversary this week so we’ll have to get ready for that too.

We even used one of the new Shimmer Pens on this project! That’s how we added a little shimmer.

Ann initially use Hydrangea Hue Stampin’ Blends to color the cake. Then she added the Hydrangea Hue Shimmer Pen. Since the colors were stacked or layered, it made the color darker. That’s why we chose to use Blueberry Bushel cardstock to make the words.

And it added a bit of shimmer too!

We also used some of the rotating gears to make the cake rotate or spin when you touch it. We’ll show that on tomorrow’s live stream.
