Once we heard that Lynette already made something with her stamp set, we got ours out and made today’s Coneflower thank you card. I’m so happy we did it!

And it all started off with this Pool Party cardstock that had been embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. It’s been on the desk for a couple weeks. And all we had to do it trim it down from 5-1/4″ x 4″ to 4″ x 3″.

I just love it! And I’m thankful that we’ve go the Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers to easily color the flower. It hardly took any time, but I like the way it turned out. We’ve never seen a coneflower, but you can make them any color when you’re creating them. There’s no law that they have to be biologically correct!

What color would you make them?

We played with the Color Wheel and came up with this combination:

  • Pecan Pie
  • Bubble Bath
  • Old Olive
  • Pool Party
  • Early Espresso
  • Crumb Cake

Now, we didn’t get all those colors from the Color Wheel, but it sure did help us think out of the box! I like it! I like it a lot! And I can’t wait to have Ann make more!
