This weekend, Ann drove a little over an hour to go to Vacaville to attend a shoebox swap. And from that, we’re doing a sneak peek today. Yes! a sneak peek project!
What’s a Shoebox Swap?
Anyone can do it, but demonstrators are known for it. They gather at a central location. There were just 10 this time. They each brought a project and enough supplies for everyone to make their project.
Each spot has everything there for you to travel around and make everyone’s project. Each spot has a box with everything there for you to make the project. There are so many cool plastic boxes that you don’t usually see a shoebox. You just bring your own adhesive and scissors.
And, lucky for us, our team member, Veronica, came. And that’s probably who’s project we’ll make today because Ann didn’t get to finish it there at the event.
Ann’s got a birthday thing on her head because one of the demonstrators there celebrated her 90th birthday on Easter!
