Did you know that Ann’s favorite flowers are hydrangeas? That’s why I wonder why it took us so long to make this Hydrangea Thank You Card.

You see, there were hydrangea bushes around the house that Ann grew up in. These bushes can be different colors depending on the acidity of the soil. Ann’s were pinkish with some blue so that’s why she colored her card like this.

The interesting thing is that there’s no real pink on this card. But I sure do like the colors we decided on.

We’ve had this set for 2-1/2 weeks and we’ve finally brought it out.

This Thankful Garden Bundle comes with a photopolymer stamp set, dies and masks so that you can apply color with our Blending Brushes.

Brushing the color on rather than stamping it on gives the card a softer look. But there are stamps in there you can stamp with. And there’s always watercoloring with our Stampin’ Blends if that’s what we wanted to do.

How would you like to color your hydrangeas? Pink? Blue? Watercolor? Blending Brushes?

While we used Fresh Freesia for a card base, we didn’t use it for the ink. But it sure looks like we did because we brushed on our Highland Heather so light. Here’s the inks that we used:

  • Highland Heather first
  • Then Gorgeous Grape
  • and finally Azure Afternoon
