We tried hard to make a one layer card, but we discovered that a layer makes a difference.
Now, we didn’t count the card base. Ann wasn’t ready to go that far. But you check this out and see what you think.
Here’s the original card.
We’ve waited way too long to use the Fields in Bloom set that we purchased a few months ago. Two step stamping is a favorite stamp style of ours, but we weren’t satisfied with one layer.
One thing good about one layer is that it only requires one stamp!
Instead of cutting out clouds, this is what we did. We used part of one of the Stylish Shapes dies to upgrade the greeting.
So, what do you think? Upgraded layer or the original?
If you like having fun while making cards, you may wish to grab a spot in our Stamp & Play Day. Many of our players have already signed up but there’s room for you! And today is the last day for Early Bird savings.
