Our team member Connie asked for suggestions on how to put the cone of shame on the dog from the Stampin’ Up! Hot Dog stamp set.
So we set out to figure out how to put the cone on the Hot Dog. And we did it along with our viewers on yesterday’s live stream online class.
It’s really not a class. It’s more like a visit to our stamp room for some card making experiments.
Here’s how the card turned out.
Don’t you just love it?
Ann did it twice. Once it just didn’t look right. In fact, this one might not be exactly the way the dachshund would wear a cone of shame. But we like it.
During the live stream, you could see that Ann had a little line show up where she didn’t want it. That’s how the Red Rhinestone got applied to the designer cone of shame.
I think it’s a great get well card for a dog lover. Or perhaps you’d like to send it to your friend’s dog who is wearing a cone of shame.
In any case, the Hot Dog set and the True Love Designer Series Paper that we used is not in the new catalog so it will not be available after the end of June.
Just barking here. We used that patterned paper on today’s Mystery Card as well.
Watch the replay on YouTube or below.
We used some new things on the card too – like the new polka dot embossing folder from the Checks & Dots pair of embossing folders that we listed in the supply list pictures a bit farther down.
