First things, first. Happy National Tortilla Chip Day! Just thinking about them makes me want to send out for some avocados to make us some guacamole! A nice little salsa wouldn't be too bad either! I'll start the music….

Thanks for all the nice shout outs that you gave me for the last two videos that I posted here for St. Paddy's Day projects. We're already shopping for my green outfit so that I don't get pinched any more often than usual.
A few of you wanted to know how we got the glitzy Shamrock (shown below) on one of the versions of the Shamrock card in yesterday's video. It's easy!
- Stamp your shamrock image (this one's the Lucky Shamrock #121939 in Garden Green).
- Let dry (doesn't take long).
- Take a VersaMark pad & press it onto the stamped image. This is sometimes called "Direct to Paper" because you're using the ink pad like a stamp.
- Dump Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder #101930 onto your paper.
- Heat with Heat Tool.
- Punch out with 1" Circle Punch #119868 & mount with a dimensional.
Guy dogs don't do a lot of glitter, but I like this way because it doesn't shed like a dog. You can rub it with your finger & it stays put.
Here's the finished card. This is the one with the smaller borders. I like the other card made in the video with the normal size borders.
Just click for a close up.
It's a great time to be the blog dog of a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
