But First….

I’ve got to tell you that it was quite the day for our Apprentice, Domino.

He was ready to scoop up any fallen card stock or even a covering for a Stampin’ Dimensional. Good thing that Ann didn’t drop any of those embellishments or he’d be leaving some sparklies in the back yard later!

Domino doesn’t sit on the couch as much as I did when I lived there. I always sat right up next to Ann, whether it was in a chair or on the couch. The only time we’re allowed on the couch is when we’re sitting with Ann. It was a perfect vantage point for me so I could help her while she was on her laptop.

The Apprentice, Domino, stretches the rules and sits at the other end if he gets up there at all. I think it’s because he has all that hair and gets too hot.

But you can tell he’s had quite the day celebrating World Card Making Day 2023.

Here Are the First Two Projects

These were the first two projects that everyone made together. Ann accidentally grabbed her Daffodil Delight marker on the half circles on the left. She should’ve grabbed the Lemon Lolly for a more subtle look.

On the one on the right, she didn’t bring the Pecan Pie all the way down the stem on the wheat. I’ll have to send her a pupographic message about that.

That’s one of the things Ann likes about stamping. You can make yours a bit different and it’s just an opportunity for embellish or move on.

Ann used to like to quilt, but ripping out mistakes takes a long time. Paper is a lot more forgiving.

Very Different Than the Original

The original projects doesn’t have a cupcake on it and the greeting is in the center. Ann told me that if she did it again, she would’ve made the cupcake paper Berry Burst instead of Lemon Lime Twist. She just didn’t think it was worth doing another cupcake.

She stamped the cupcake in Blueberry Bushel and used a Blender Pen to smoosh the color around. She’ll probaby share more about the cards on our Cardmaking Live Stream Tuesday at Tpm Pawcific.

They’ll even have some fun stamping time to watch with our CEO Sara and her daughter Sydney stamping with some soon to be released stamps, dies, papers and embellishments. (Demonstrators can purchase now. They can be included in your Starter Kit, but they won’t be available to the public until early November.)
