Many Thanks Card

Stampin’ Up! is honoring everyday heroes during May and June. We made this many thanks card with a special everyday hero in mind.

You know the type

Well, I hope that you have an everyday hero in your life! And not just the neighbor who puts your garbage cans away. (We have some of those and my favorite huMAN returns the favor.)

Today’s card is for that everyday hero who brings you food when you don’t feel well. Or mows your lawn. Or cleans your gutters.

Yes, when my favorite huMAN had some surgery, there were friends that came by and did just that. It was a long time ago, but Ann still remembers those people who mowed the lawn and even got up on the roof!

These are the people that Ann was thinking of when she made today’s card.

This first picture looks a bit more pink that Polished Pink looks. It’s a softer pink than appears to me in the picture above.

We thought that it was just the right pink to pair up with this limited edition black and white patterned paper. It’s from the All Together 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack that is available while supplies last through the end of this month.

We even through in a bit of bling just in case coloring that beautiful flower isn’t enough. Those Iridescent Rhinestones were just the right amount of sparkle, don’t you think?

Of course, Ann used the Shimmery White Paper to color on with the Polished Pink and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends. It’s Ann’s favorite when she colors, but the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink was a little oversaturated. Ann got a little heavy with the reinking fluid a few weeks ago. I can’t believe that it’s still so wet!

But it still looks good. And this picture shows more what Polished Pink looks like.
