Well, the Birthday Weekend is Over

My favorite huMAN’s birthday weekend is over. And what a weekend it was!

He had ribs from Chilis’ for his birthday dinner which ended with his favorite – cheesecake.

We got him 3 new hats and tires for his truck. Yep. And a visit to the Dollar Store. Ann goes there once every couple years. She needed something for the new apprentice and has been twice now in the last couple weeks. Now that she’s found a new one that has clean floors and nicely stacked shelves, she may go more often.

Last night, friends had them over for a little birthday dinner. Of course, his two biggest fans were there and made good use of the cover that was used for his cake.

Aren’t they cute? And these two sisters love my favorite huMAN almost as much as I do!

Of course, there were lots of handmade cards given to him. Laughter and memories were shared too.

It was a nice birthday weekend, but Ann many have a few more things up her sleeve for him.

I think Ann was in a beachfront kind of mood after the card that we featured in this post. But she added a nice little quip from the Bunches of Fun stamp set.

He liked it and we’re happy with that.
