There are cards for friends and then there are best friend cards. Have you sent any of them cards to improve their spirits lately?
If you have to think about it more than a few seconds, it’s time to get out your stamps ink and paper and make them one!
It’s not hard to think about who needs a thank you or just a word of encouragement.
You may have missed this stamp set. It’s way in the back of the January to June not so Mini Catalog. Isn’t it perfect for a good friend? You know – the kind that you want to keep around.
Isn’t that a great saying? Who wouldn’t want to receive a card with that on the front!
Check the Size
Please note that while the embossing folder that we used will work with the Mini Cut & Emboss machine, it doesn’t work with the size cardstock we used without folding or bending it. You could get the same effect by cutting that layer down to the width of the folder. That would expose the plain layer below it on the left instead of just embossing half of the sheet as we did here.
You CAN use that embossing folder with the Mini – just not exactly like we used the folder here. But the Mini Cut & Emboss machine is a great deal that’s on sale this month for 20% off.
The Best Way to Color
Ann loves the Stampin’ Up! alcohol markers that we call Stampin’ Blends. They are awesome! They blend easily and look so much better than when Ann uses regular markers.
She doesn’t mind that I told you. She also won’ t mind my sharing that she really enjoys coloring with the Stampin’ Blends.
Stampin’ Blends work well with Watercolor Paper, but Ann’s favorite is the Shimmery White Cardstock. You can even see the sparkle in this picture!
See the shimmer on the tree trunk and in the leaves? There’s something about that Shimmery White cardstock that makes those Stampin’ Blends work.
