Ann started today’s card as a card for her friend. But once she got it together, she decided to make an amazing card for my favorite huMAN.
What do you think? Is this a more masculine card? Or is it a card for my friend whose birthday I missed?
Or does it matter?
Now, Ann’s friend loves red just like Ann does. But I guess she’ll get a different card than this one.
We had a gift for Ann’s friend that I put in a special place. Unfortunately, she didn’t find that special place until after her friend’s birthday.
Now, we just have to make a different card for her to go with that gift.
It’s already been decided that this card is going to my favorite huMAN for all the help that he’s given so that our new little apprentice. He’s really pitched in and both Ann and I appreciate it.
Oops!
Plus – while Ann was excited about how she used the trim on this, she didn’t realize that it was a retired item until it was too late.
But I really like how she knotted it to tie everything together.
Those three little knots were perfect to tie everything together. And oh, so easy!
About the Apprentice
He’s fitting in really well, but those puppy teeth! He really likes to use them!
He’s in training to learn how to send the pup-o-graphic messages to Ann. You can see it here.
He’s got the first step down, but we’ve got a long way to go.
At 10-1/2 weeks, this is the first time that he’s slept next to Ann while she’s typing. So Domino’s got the sleeping step down.
So, other than the Real Red Trim that is no longer available and the stamps, we’ve got some really good news about the supplies we used for this card:
All the ink and paper we used in this will be on sale this Tuesday through Thursday.
Yes, all these items in the Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog will be on sale for 3 days:

And all the cardstock and ink pads we used are from the Annual Catalog!
And $3 from the sale of each Strong of Heart stamp set will support heart health.
But I’ll bet that you’d like to know what we used for supplies.
