I got Ann a subscription to Paper Pumpkin for her birthday.  Or was it Christmas?

She needs a few cards for the neighbors to thank them for helping us while she and my favorite huMAN went to Texas.  You know – for picking up our mail or for picking me up from the Vet’s so I didn’t have to spend an extra night.

Something quick and meaningful was just the thing she needed, but the style wasn’t quite what she was looking for.

Here’s Stampin’ Up!’s preview of what was in the box.  (If you’re reading this in your email inbox, just click here to watch the video.)

Those are great ways to use the kit.  We love the cards and the bags they use instead of envelopes.  You don’t have to think about it to make an impressive card for a friend.

And there are several

But there’s no law that says that you have to make it the way they say.  By adding a couple colors of cardstock, we’ve got an entirely different idea.

Ann cut the bag and used it for a background layer for this gatefold card idea.

Too bad you can’t see where we used the Clear Wink of Stella Brush Pen to add a subtle sparkle over each of the sprinkles.

See what’s inside?

I think it’s great that they offer so many combinations.  Paper Pumpkin kits are just the thing to give you a new stamp set each month as well as pre-cut cardstock and instructions to make about a dozen cards.

And just now, we have a special offer just for those of you who have never subscribed to Paper Pumpkin before.  You can save 25% off the June, July and August installments.  Just think!  You can make 12 cards for just $15 for each of the next three months!

You’re not charged until they mail your kit around June 11th.  All you have to do is start here and wait for your first

Come on!  It’s worth a try!  You can stop the surprise orange boxes in your mailbox at any time.
