Are you ready for Cyber Monday? Because today is the last day where you can save up to 40% on things and Stampin’ Up! has planned a 24 Flash Sale just for today for some of our favorite things……like the Magnetic Platform.
It’s NEVER been this inexpensive! But it’s just for today only! (Usually $40, but today
C, it’s $26)
The Magnetic Platform is VERY helpful in getting your cuts straight when you’re using framelits that line up with stamps. Ann and I show you how strong it is here in this video. (If you’re reading this in your email, you can see the video here.)
Check out the Holiday Extravaganza here to see all of the sale items that all end today.
You’ll really appreciate the Magnetic Platform when you’ve done some triple layer stamping and want to get the cut just right. Like we did on this card.
I was amazed at how quickly this Christmas card went together. Of course, we didn’t use the Magnetic Platform for that top pine cone, but the light border kind of looks okay too – just not what I would normally do.
And how do you like the little star we added? We decided to place it low rather than up in the sky like they normally are.
If you haven’t started on your Christmas cards yet, it’s time to gt movin’! You can have this on your doorstep in days and still have time to get a few card out.
Here’s a list of everything we used to make today’s card. If you’re reading this in your email, please click here to see the picture list & the video.

Wonderful card Miss Ann. Great tips on the magnetic board too. I have a quick question or two. Did you use Soft Sky for the stars? And is that Black or Early Espresso that was used for the sentiment? Thanks for the help and inspiration.
I told Ann to stamp off Pool Party before stamping the stars/snow. We used Soft Suede for the greeting. I’m surprised how dark it stamped, but it’s a pretty juicy pad.
Thanks Stamper for the quick tip. Brilliant idea to stamp off for a more subtle look. Ann is so lucky to have your creative input and vision. Maybe you could nudge her to add Pool Party ink to the supply list too. 😀
