Have you received an announcement for a special someone graduating soon? It’s an exciting time in the life of a teen and their family.
We have a dear friend of our family whose daughter is graduating high school and then in the fall will be off to college.
Yep. It’s an exciting time as they make their first steps into adulthood.
Now I told Ann to put a graduation cap on this card, but as you see….SHE DIDN’T! She DID put some Silver Metallic Card Stock on there though.
And we haven’t mailed it yet, so we could still put one on there.
Here is one of those cool things about making your own gift card holder: For birthdays or Christmas, we like to make these to match the gift card, but with graduation and wedding cards, we like to match their school colors or wedding colors.
In this case, the school colors (or at least the invitation) are blue and silver. And here’s how we put the gift card on the inside.
We’re pretty sure there’s a Target store by her new school so she can buy something special for her dorm room.
Or she can buy herself a special gift to remind herself how much we all care for her. That would work too.
The plan was to take pictures for a step by step process, but I like this card so much, we’re getting the video camera out.
We hope you like it too.
