We're still looking for our invitation to the Royal Wedding.  I accompany Ann out to our mail box every day, but it seems like it was lost in the mail – or else one of the other local pups picked it up.

Ann's got some way out inspiration for today's card & here it is in no particular order:

  • She lived in England for 5 years (before I was born)
  • She used to REALLY like Mary Engelbreit art (even had her dishes!)
  • She hadn't used her Water Color Crayons in longer than she'd like to admit

Now that you know that, you'll know where this whimsical card using the Stampin' Up! stamp set Morning Cup came from.

CrownTea
She stamped the teapot in Stazon Jet Black.  She masked that & stamped the teacups.  She masked those too & then stamped the Old Olive "tablecloth" using the lacy stamp from Clearly for You in the Occasions Mini.  That's the same stamp she used to stamp on the top flower in yesterday's card & video.

Those Trinket Crowns #121891 in the Occasions Mini are just too cute to growl about!  Ann tied them into the Rich Razzleberry Taffeta Ribbon using the Narrow Black Taffeta Ribbon.  She also attached the lobster claw & jump ring onto the crown so that the recipient could easily take the crown off to use without messing up the card.

Genius, I say!

So I think Ann's going to send this to one of her friends who needs to be treated like royalty.  Get it?  ROYAL TEA.  They too may be unhappy that they didn't get an invitation to the Royal WeddingPrince William & Kate will not be pleased when Ann doesn't show up on April 29, 2011.  Do you think we should send a gift anyway?   How about some handstamped cards!?!

It's a great time to be the blog dog of a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
